Without further ado Andrea and Abundant Reiki:
Hi everyone!
Have you heard of Reiki? Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive way to balance our system overall: mind,
body and spirit. Balance is always a good thing, because your body can only self-heal when your
nervous system is balanced.
Treatment is always safe, for all ages. There are no known medical contraindications. Reiki works to
reduce anxiety, stress and pain. It brings deep relaxation and creates a feeling of inner connection to
one receiving treatment You will lie fully clothed on a treatment table while I place my hands
lightly on or above (your choice!) your head and torso (or if need be, sitting in a chair). Clients
comment how comforting they find the experience of Reiki to be. People typically leave a Reiki
session feeling refreshed, calm, mental clarity, more centered and less reactive. Additionally, clients
report having a slower heart rate, easier breathing, better digestion, a sense of feeling better overall
and having the best sleep that night ever. Treatments are a vital investment in yourself!
Reiki is a spiritual healing practice originating from Japan. Reiki is a good Integrative Therapy to try
because you generally start feeling better immediately. Plus, the benefits grow with repeated
sessions. As anxiety and pain lessen, and you feel hopeful about regaining your health, you feel more
able to incorporate other needed health interventions or make needed lifestyle changes. Reiki
treatment often clears the mind, helping you to better evaluate the sometimes conflicting medical
information being offered by various specialists. Then, you can make important treatment decisions
with greater confidence. Reiki can help you become more actively involved in your own health.
Four sessions is a traditional recommendation and gives you time to evaluate what benefits you are
receiving.
The best way to understand Reiki is to have a session yourself and enjoy your own, unique
experience!
In Reiki practice, there isn’t any diagnosing. As a Practitioner, I’m a facilitator and do not manipulate any outcome. The Reiki treatment gently stimulates your own self-healing mechanisms. I practice the simple, traditional practice that was brought from Japan in the 1930’s. Reiki is different from Energy Healing where the Practitioner actually diagnoses and manipulates energy.
There aren’t any standards for Reiki training or treatment, and enormous diversity exists among
professionals. Sadly, the extent of the diversity can be confusing to the public. Professionals do not
necessarily agree what the term Reiki refers to. It is a Buyer Beware market. I encourage you to
choose your Reiki professional carefully. Feel empowered to ask questions! Any respectable Reiki
professional will appreciate this!
What is my unique perspective as a Reiki Practitioner?
My view and practice of Reiki is broad. I speak of the Reiki connection rather than of Reiki as a
separate, or only “universal life force” energy. Reiki is simple. It is enough. It is enough on its own. Nothing needs to be added to it. I love: crystals/gemstones, massage, essential oils, energy healing, mediumship, etc. However, I do not add them to my Reiki treatment. In lumping all practices together in one session, how would you know what was benefitting you? Reiki is enough on its own. It is a pure practice. Traditional Reiki treatment helps us to feel better And, we all want to feel better!
Do I practice Reiki self-treatment every day?
Absolutely! That is the DEALBREAKER in choosing your practitioner. Someone who recognizes Reiki as a spiritual healing practice, and who actually practices daily self- treatment, is able to support you with greater depth and confidence. Rather than someone who regards Reiki merely as a treatment for others, or just for when they’re not feeling well. Why would you want to receive treatment from a Practitioner who doesn’t value Reiki enough to use it to protect and maintain their own health and well-being?
Why did I choose to be a Reiki Practitioner?
I wanted to become a Reiki Practitioner because of my own personal experience receiving treatment.
I was in crisis with my health, I felt raw, exhausted, at the end of my rope. It was a very dark time in
my life. I was experiencing a dramatic spiritual awakening....reading about and researching many
areas. Everywhere I turned, Reiki kept coming to me. I recognized the signs! I read and researched it,
but not majorly. I trusted my gut, my intuition....I needed to try a treatment session. I did. It was an
amazing inner experience. I signed up for training immediately. Boom. I so wanted to offer others the
gift of this spiritual healing practice
Where do you hope your service will go in the future?
My goal is to receive further training enabling me to teach others Reiki for their own self care and that of others. I love offering treatment to the public and my regular clients. Further, to help others help themselves, and others, on a daily self practice basis, is even more rewarding!
Don't you just love her? We know we do and she truly is such a great person to be around. Details for her services are as followed:
