With so much information being passed around about recommendations for sun safety, sometimes it's hard to understand what is considered reliable information. But we have narrowed down some online resources that can give you the information you need.

Healthier Together, ran by AHS provides the most up to date information regarding the regulations and recommendations around sun safety. Tips, facts, and other helpful links can be found. You can even learn more about personalized sun safety tips based on your skin type! They also have information for indoor tanning and outdoor workers. In addition to this, they take the time to address the one question that is on a lot of people's minds- what is the current verdict about the chemicals that are in sunscreen- do they cause cancer? It is a worthwhile short read to better understand what current research is telling us and explains why the FDA is calling for more research rather than completely saying that it is bad for you.
